Yes, when applied by a registered operator and the drying or re-entry instructions are followed. We use products registered under Act 36 of 1947 and tell you exactly how long to keep pets and children away from treated areas, usually only until surfaces have dried.
Most standard home treatments cost between R650 and R1,500 depending on the pest, the size of the property and the level of infestation. We quote before we treat, so you will always know the price upfront.
For most treatments, no. Gel baiting and targeted applications let you stay home. For fogging or fumigation you will need to stay out for a few hours, and we will tell you exactly how long beforehand.
Contact sprays work within hours, while gel baits and growth regulators typically take one to two weeks to work through the whole colony. Rodent baiting usually shows results within a week.
Seeing more cockroaches shortly after treatment is normal and a good sign: the treatment flushes them from hiding while the bait works through the nest. Numbers should drop clearly within two weeks.
Flying termites have straight antennae, a thick waist and equal-length wings; flying ants have bent antennae, a pinched waist and unequal wings. Mud tubes on walls or hollow-sounding wood point to termites, and an inspection will confirm it.
